Dwayne Johnson tops the Forbes’ list of World’s Highest-Paid Actors 2019
This year’s Forbes’ list of World’s Highest-Paid Actors 2019 has been topped by Dwayne Johnson. He secured the 1st rank by earning $89.4 million in the time frame from June 1, 2018, to June 1, 2019. Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr. secured 2nd and 3rd ranks.
The star recently exchanged vows with Lauren Hashian on August 18th, 2019 in Hawaii over the weekend. He posted their pic captioning: “We do. August 18th, 2019. Hawaii. Pōmaikaʻi (blessed)”
The Rock sure is having a great weekend filled with happiness and success. Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) previously topped the list in 2016 with $64.5 million.
The figures came from his movie release of Skyscraper, royalties from his shoes, headphones and clothing line, earnings from HBO’s Ballers and part of the box office returns for his franchise movies.
The star’s latest high-grossing franchise movie installment Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw, is now in theatres.
This means the actor might secure himself a high rank in next year’s list too.
Earlier this year, The Avengers: Endgame broke a lot of blockbuster records grossing at $2.796 billion.
The immense success of Avengers put Its stars Chris Hemsworth on rank 2nd with gross earnings of $76.4 million. While Robert Downey Jr. secured rank number 3 with $66 million in Forbes’ list of World’s Highest-Paid Actors 2019.
The 4th rank has been secured by Bollywood star Akshay Kumar at $65 million. Jackie Chan has secured position No. 5 with $58 million.
Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon in Avengers) tied with Adam Sandler on rank 6 in the list with earnings of $57 million each.
Chris Evans got the 8th place with $43.5 million, Paul Rudd got the 9th place with $41 million, while Will Smith got the 10th Place with $35 million in earnings this year, placing them in the Top 10 of Forbes’ list of World’s Highest-Paid Actors.
